Running water falling over jagged, moss covered rocks. A rough, sandpaper tongue stretched between the impressive meat eating teeth of a yawning tiger. Puffy clouds drifting across a vast sky over a reflective lake and grassy hills. And a winter storm threatens over a partially frozen lake.
Take a peek through the images of UpNortPhoto, and those are glimpses of the scenes captured by photographer Diane Jensen. Jensen is a nature, landscape and wildlife photographer in northeastern Wisconsin.
Jensen has been interested in photography since her early adolescent years, and has developed the ability to capture the beauty and essence of God's creation through both film and digital work. Today, she shares these places and special moments in time.
A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, photographer and avid hiker, Jensen is also an advocate for educating the public on the captive wildlife crisis which plagues our backyards. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of her wildlife images is donated to wildlife sanctuaries in an effort to further assist those organizations in educating the public about the suffering, abuse and exploitation of animals.
Please enjoy viewing her images as much as she loves taking them.
